In the last issue of the paper I indicated that the Association office would remain open, but before the ink could dry off the presses, the entire metro area including all of Jackson County was put on a “shelter in place” order.  It can be argued that some of our staff (primarily the Operations Crew)

The 2019 Annual Membership Meeting was held on March 10th, 2020.  According to the Association By-Laws half of the District Directors were up for election to two-year terms. 2020-2021 Directors The Directors elected for the odd numbered districts at the Annual Meeting are as follows: District   1 –  Jean Hodges                 District   3 –  Jeff Moore

If you haven’t already received your boat registration forms in the mail, you will soon.  Stickers should be on your trailers (in the storage lot), boats, and golf carts by May 1st.  As we will be registering over 3000 boats, there are a few things that you can do to help speed up the process.

We are pleased to announce that we have come to a new lease agreement with Lotawana Restaurant Development LLC.  The owner/operators of the new tenant are Roger Accurso and Lance McFarland, both residents of our community.  Lance has been working at the restaurant for over 15 years and has 19 years of restaurant experience overall.
