2/8/23 – Association News

The winter freeze-thaw cycle is certainly taking its toll on the Association roads this year. The crew will be out in the coming weeks with cold patch to fill the potholes and other areas that were not filled during the crack fill process. Please be mindful of the crews stopped on the roads performing the repair work as you are navigating around the lake.

The annual dues must be paid by February 28, 2023. As of this week 34% of members have paid their dues. A majority of members normally pay during February. If you have not received your bill please contact the office at your earliest convenience, or search for an email from invoice@invoice.global.

The Association Annual Meeting will be held on March 14th. Please mark your calendars so that you can attend this meeting. In addition, you will be receiving ballots for those districts that are electing their directors. Please consider running for a director position. It is very important to have a good cross-section of people on the Board. Many impactful decisions are made throughout the year so your participation and input would be greatly appreciated. Since the lake is now occupied by 45% part-time residents, it would follow that a fair number of Directors should be filled by part-timers. Please thoughtfully consider giving your time and talent to our lake community.

Boat registration will be sent out around the 1st of March.  This is similar timing to previous years.  The deadline for having your boats, trailers and golf carts registered is May 1; that includes having the new decals on your vehicles or trailers in the storage lot.
