The budgeting process is moving forward into its final phases. The Executive Committee reviewed the information and the Board of Directors will review and have the ability to approve the 2023 Budget at its October 11th board meeting. The last step will be the review and vote on acceptance or not of the proposed budget by the membership. You will have the opportunity to vote on the budget prior to the November 8th meeting or attend the meeting in person and cast your vote that evening.
In my last article I mentioned that the Fall Cleanup was going to be two days. In fact, it will only be one day, November 5th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event is ONLY for items coming from Lake Lotawana Association members’ properties.
There have been several recent complaints about automobiles and trucks exceeding the posted speed limit of 20 MPH on the Association roads. You are reminded that the Board voted several years ago to enter into an agreement with the City of Lake Lotawana to enforce the speed limit laws on the Association roads. Please, for the safety of yourself and others, drive the speed limit throughout the lake roads.
