Please see the following list of areas that will experience temporary road closures this week. If you live on the east shore or need access there, please plan to use Gate 1 all day on Wednesday the 4th. School buses will be allowed to pass. There will be a short 30-minute period on Thursday the 5th when the road at Marina 27 will be closed to allow painting of the crosswalk.

H-Block (600-foot stretch of road) Mill & Pave:

Culvert Replacement at Y-14:
There is an approximately 100 ft section around the newly identified culvert at Y-14 that will be left unpaved. We have not received a bid on this project yet, because of a delay in getting estimated time we can get the culvert precast concrete box. As soon as we have a timeline it will be scheduled and the road will subsequently be paved in this area.
Road Paving along East Shore:
The East Shore road paving project, aside from Gate 7, and the new culvert near Y-14 is mostly done. There are around a dozen areas that have been marked for revisiting the week of Sept 3rd by the contractor to re-heat and reshape or smooth. Another small road that will be paved is directly across the street from V-26 and is a service road that leads to 3 separate driveways. In addition to this the Crosswalk at Marina 27 will be restriped/repainted on Thursday 9/5/2024.
Driveways:
A number of owners have called or emailed the Association indicating they wanted the free 3 foot asphalt apron. These will be addressed Sept 3rd.
The contractors are creating bids for the driveways for more extensive paving and will be providing estimates and returning to complete driveways in the coming weeks.
