The Lake Lotawana Association, along with the Roads Subcommittee of the Board of Directors, advises all interested parties the roadway in the vicinity of 19 W Street will be COMPLETELY CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC FROM JULY 24th to AUGUST 4th, 2023. This closure is necessary to facilitate the replacement of multiple old culvert systems, along with the permanent placement of a dredge pipe to be used for future dredging projects.
NO TRUCK DELIVERIES OR TRAFFIC WILL BE ALLOWED BETWEEN THE DAM AND 19 W Street vicinity during this road shutdown. Therefore, you will need to plan ahead for any heavy deliveries or deliveries to construction projects in this area as NO TRUCK TRAFFIC, only normal car traffic, WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE DAM ROAD. THERE WILL BE NO SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS ALLOWED!!!! Please plan accordingly. Also please let any contractors or others working in this area know about this road closure. Extra police and Association patrols will be stationed at the dam area to ensure compliance with this situation. Trash service will continue during this time, but there will be no pick-up of recycling or yard waste during the 2-week period. GFL Environmental has graciously offered to pick up extra recycling and yard waste following completion of the project.
For those that live south of the project, you will be required to use GATE 7 as your only access to your property. Again, please plan ahead for this inconvenience.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
