Important Update: Spire Gas Energy Project – Phase 2 Begins

We’re pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the Spire Gas Energy Project near the low water bridge inside Gate 3 is nearing completion. Starting this week, Phase 2 will begin, marking another significant step forward in this important infrastructure improvement.

While we are excited to see continued progress from our partners at Spire, we must also share an important safety reminder for all homeowners.

Over the next 2–3 weeks (July), Spire will be conducting excavating and boring through solid rock to create an underground path for the new natural gas main. This work will take place near the Low Water Bridge.

For your safety, crossing the Low Water Bridge—by foot or golf cart—will be strictly prohibited while crews are actively working.

Although some members may be used to navigating around barriers, please do not attempt to cross during this phase. The boring process can be unpredictable, and maintaining a safe distance is critical.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we prioritize safety and support the successful completion of this project.
