8/24/22 – Association News

You know it is getting close to the end of the lake summertime fun when the children are headed back to school, the office spends hours on the 2023 proposed budget, the fuel company is asked when the Marina fueling station will be closing (Mid-October based upon weather and sales), we are reviewing our winter weather issues of snow plow readiness and the adequacy of our salt/sand supplies, as well as making sure the vacuum equipment is ready to clean the leaves out of our culverts and ditches. But until then, enjoy your time on the lake, especially over the Labor Weekend Holiday.

This article is drafted 5 or so days before it is published. The roadway at G block is closed for replacement of the large dual culverts in that area. Our hope is the roadway is back open by the time you are reading this article. However, the contractor did notify the gas company that its main line was possibly damaged. It ends up the gas company approved the gas line in its current condition. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time of inconvenience to those members living in that area.

The Board of Directors authorized an increase in expenditure to $20,000 for the fireworks display in 2023. Your voluntary contributions make this show possible. Thank you for those who have already contributed to the cause, as well as those who plan to do so in the next month or so. You are very much appreciated.
