3/8/23 – Association News

We want to make sure that we cover this topic of the Association trailer lot several more times over the next coming week so that as many people as possible know about the cleanup efforts and removal of unauthorized trailers and other items from the lot. As stated in the last article, the lot has literally become a dumping ground for just about everything imaginable, including old toilets, scrap metal, old boat lifts, just to name a few. Please come and clean up/remove any items you have in storage that are not currently registered, or visit the office to discuss the registration of permissible items.

Moreover, our attorney has now weighed in on the process of disposing of personal property that is not currently registered. Thus, in order to facilitate the cleanup of the lot, including mowing and ridding, we ask you to PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR STORED ITEMS HAVE A CURRENT STICKER AND LOT/BLOCK INFORMATION ON THEM. 2023 applications will be sent out this week so please look for them in the mail. If you do not receive one within the next 10 days please contact the office so your property is not unwittingly disposed of. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this endeavor.

The Association and members would like to thank Roc at Roc Solid Tree and Properties for donating his time, workmen and equipment to remove a dead tree from the children’s playground area at gate 2.  His generosity is greatly appreciated.

The operator of the fuel facility at Marina 27 is targeting the date of March 18th to have fuel available to members. This, of course, is barring any unforeseen issues that sometimes occur after the winter shutdown.

The operations crew will be focusing on pothole repair and ditch cleaning/reconstruction in the coming weeks. This is necessary for obvious reasons, including the proper flow of water to the lake so that our roads are not damaged. As a general note, the Association owns most, if not all, of the ditches along the roadway. If you have any questions about the ditch along your property please contact the office and we will be glad to discuss the matter with you.
